About The Position

Its Generator Service & Maintenance Division is seeking Generator Service Technicians to maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generator systems ranging from 5 kW to 4,000 kW while providing excellent customer service. The role includes customer interaction and completing service paperwork. Technicians may work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call pager rotations, with occasional out-of-town travel and overnight stays. Total estimated compensation is $81,880–$99,040 per year, with overtime and on-call pay available.

Requirements

Mechanical and electrical aptitude, with experience in mechanical and electrical fields, particularly with diesel generators.
Willingness to learn and use new technologies.
Availability to work various shifts, weekends, holidays, and on-call pager rotations, and to travel out of town occasionally and stay overnight.
Ability to safely operate heavy equipment, forklifts, and mobile cranes in accordance with OSHA regulations.

Nice To Haves

Technical schooling or experience in automotive, transportation, commercial or residential electrical fields, or similar military experience.
Certified Journeyman Electrician credential.

Responsibilities

Inspect, maintain, troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and test generator systems ranging from 5 kW to 4,000 kW.

Read and apply technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
