About The Position

NC Power Systems is seeking a Generator Technician for the Wenatchee / Quincy, Washington area. This role is 100% field-based. Technicians diagnose and maintain data center generators and install EPG and industrial engines in the field. Safety and patience are priorities.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of generator experience or CAT industrial engine experience.
• Must possess personal tools.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds or more.
• Above-average written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Degree in Diesel Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and install industrial engines, including OEM and EPG engines.
• Maintain engines and generators at data centers.
• Troubleshoot and inspect power generators and make necessary repairs.
• Order parts using Caterpillar’s SIS parts-ordering system.
• Communicate with Engineering, customers, and other team members.
• Complete administrative requirements, including service reports, jobsite-specific paperwork, inspections, and quality service notes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
