Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of power generation experience
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Comfort working from technical documentation and established procedures
  • A careful, detail-oriented approach to diagnostics and recordkeeping
  • Professional, straightforward communication style
  • Valid driving record with fewer than three moving violations and no felony convictions
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening

Responsibilities

  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on diesel and natural gas generators
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS), generator controls, excitation systems, and related equipment
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals with care and accuracy
  • Complete service documentation thoroughly and on time
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding equipment status and service findings
  • Follow established safety procedures, company policies, and industry best practices consistently
