About The Position

Innodata is seeking a Russian-speaking Generative AI Specialist to join its global contributor community through the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Demand program. This is a part-time, remote, flexible, project-specific opportunity supporting leading technology companies as they develop generative AI and large language models. Contributors help improve AI systems by performing language and reasoning-related tasks according to project guidelines, with the flexibility to work on their own schedule. The work may involve evaluating AI outputs, labeling and categorizing content, assessing relevance and quality, generating or revising text, creating prompts and responses, summarizing, transcribing, translating, augmenting training data, reviewing product features, and gathering data for AI training, evaluation, or fine-tuning. A bachelor's degree or higher in a humanities specialization is required, and advanced degrees are strongly preferred. Professional or expert proficiency (C1/C2) in both English and Russian is required. The expected hourly salary is $15, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.

Responsibilities

Rate and assess AI model or algorithm performance based on outputs or behavior and evaluative questions.
Label elements of content and assign predefined categories or labels.
Evaluate content quality and appropriateness, and generate labels that help describe concepts or trends.
Create transformed training data, including by paraphrasing or summarizing text or modifying images, audio, or video.
Review data and determine whether product features work as intended under project guidelines.
Label model outputs according to defined criteria, such as identifying clickbait, gaming videos, or branded content.
Order or rank items according to preferences or criteria.
Create prompts or questions for language models or other AI systems.
Evaluate content relevance using a specified scale.
Generate responses to prompts or questions using a language model or other AI system.
Rewrite existing text while preserving its meaning and following clarity, style, or other guidelines.
Produce concise summaries of longer text or data.
Transcribe spoken language or audio into written text.
Translate text or spoken language between languages.
Gather and compile data for training, evaluating, or fine-tuning AI models, including text, images, video, and audio.
