About The Position

Lehigh Valley Health Network (LVHN) is seeking a Generalist Physician for Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB-GYN) to join their enterprise of multiple practices across several counties in southeastern Pennsylvania. This role involves serving women’s preventive, gynecological, and obstetric needs. Inpatient care is provided at Family Birth and Newborn Centers at Cedar Crest and Muhlenberg hospital sites, with surgical care at Muhlenberg and 17th Street campuses. The physician will join a team of general OB/GYN physicians working alongside midwives, OB/GYN hospitalists, and maternal-fetal medicine specialists at the network's largest maternity hospital, which supports over 3000 births annually and serves as a referral hospital. Opportunities exist for participation in education, clinical research, quality and patient safety, and healthcare administration. LVHN has a strong history of operating independent residency programs and offers an Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program and a Maternal Fetal Medicine Fellowship. The network is a regional clinical campus for the University of South Florida Health Morsani College of Medicine and an accredited member of the Council of Teaching Hospitals and Health Systems. Physicians will experience a variety of practice settings, from intimate community-based programs to busy academic tertiary referral hospitals, and will collaborate with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The role offers the ability to teach and train students and residents at certain locations.
