About The Position

The Seasonal General Warehouse associate performs warehouse duties that may include container unloading, picking, shipping diversion, and other warehouse positions. The role handles merchandise safely and efficiently, including receiving, storing, picking, palletizing, and moving product. Associates may use an RF gun and pallet-moving equipment and may be asked to support other departments as needed.

Requirements

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure; calculator use is helpful.
Ability to understand and carry out written or oral instructions using common sense.
Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently while following prescribed work methods.
Ability to work flexible hours and an alternate shift for an extended period with limited notice.
Ability to stand, stoop, lift, and perform manual dexterity tasks; remain on feet for the entire shift.
Ability to lift boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to ascend staircases and perform standing work on an elevated platform.
Ability to work in cold temperatures in winter and hot temperatures in summer.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
One year of warehouse experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

Forklift, pallet rider, or manual pallet jack experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.
One year of warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Load and unload shipments safely and move product to assigned locations or containers.
Stack and store merchandise in appropriate areas.
Pick store orders for shipment and ensure the correct quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
Place boxes on pallets or conveyor belts.
Pick freight from pallets using pick labels.
Stack pallets with product from shipping divert lanes.
Build and shrink-wrap pallets.
Move pallets with a pallet jack.
Use an RF gun for picking, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and loading as required.
Maintain facility equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
Perform additional duties as assigned and support other departments as needed.
