The Inventory Auditor will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with various departments to ensure efficient supply chain operations. Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Auditor or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office suite.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy items, if required.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures related to inventory management.
  • Schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Ability to count accurately and efficiently.
  • Ability to focus on details. Accuracy is a must.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 25-50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate a manual pallet jack.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, product codes, and descriptions.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock with inventory records.
  • Monitor inventory levels and anticipate potential shortages or excesses, taking appropriate actions to optimize stock levels.
  • Coordinate with purchasing and receiving departments to ensure timely and accurate inventory replenishment.
  • Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to fulfill customer orders and resolve any inventory-related issues.
  • Generate and analyze inventory reports, identifying trends and making recommendations for process improvements.
  • Assist in implementing inventory control procedures to minimize loss, theft, and damage.
  • Conduct periodic cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory storage area, ensuring proper labeling and segregation of items.
  • Assist in the implementation of inventory management software and train other team members on its usage.
  • Train new associates on shipping tasks.
  • Sweep and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Report any unsafe work conditions that might occur.
  • Other duties as required.
