We are currently seeking a General Warehouse Team Member to join our distribution network. This role is crucial for ensuring the efficient flow of materials within NMG's facility. Team members will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving materials, and transporting items to and from the loading platform. This involves operating material-handling equipment such as hand trucks and forklifts, as well as accurately sorting, staging, transporting, and preparing products for shipment. The position also includes stocking and maintaining inventory, fulfilling outgoing orders by pulling stock, labeling, boxing, and wrapping products for delivery. The role is physically demanding, requiring extensive standing, lifting, carrying, and climbing ladders. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday, 1 PM - 5 PM.

Requirements

  • Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
  • Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Separate, label and verify the count of incoming freight deliveries.
  • Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
  • Locate and pull stock for outgoing deliveries.
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, and labeling).
  • Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
  • Clean and maintain work area.
  • Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
  • Shipping and Receiving responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
