Requirements

Computer skills – must be able to check email and complete online training courses
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers to aid in satisfying customer requirements.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in order to accurately complete job tasks.
Ability to organize and prioritize job tasks and requirements.

Nice To Haves

Prior work experience in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred.
Experience using a materials requirement planning system (MRP) such as AS400 preferred.

Responsibilities

Load and unload trucks, move materials throughout the warehouse, and transport items to and from the loading platform.
Operate hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, and other material-handling equipment.
Accurately sort, stage, transport, and prepare products for shipment.
Stock and maintain warehouse inventory.
Fulfill outgoing orders by correctly pulling stock, labeling, boxing, and wrapping products for delivery.
Spend most of the time standing, lifting, carrying products, and climbing ladders to access shelves and complete orders.
Use the computer system to locate products and stock incoming deliveries.
Clean and maintain work area.
Turn off and lock out equipment when not in use.
Perform shipping and receiving responsibilities.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
