General Utility Worker L1-2, Steam Operations 59th St Station Maintenance
About The Position
The General Utility Worker L1-2 performs mechanical, electrical, and general maintenance work in support of Steam Operations Maintenance at the 59th Street Generating Station. Responsibilities include assisting with the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of steam boilers, turbines, generators, water treatment systems, auxiliary equipment, and facility support systems, as well as supporting the upkeep of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and related station infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable operations. The position performs preventive and corrective maintenance, asbestos-related work, and emergency response activities while working in an industrial environment. The successful candidate must safely utilize tools and equipment, interpret technical drawings and documentation, and successfully complete required training, licenses, and certifications.
