About The Position

This is a full-time hourly position with shifts available on Monday - Friday during the 2nd or 3rd shifts. The role involves operating various machines in a manufacturing setting, ensuring material runs according to company specifications, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The position requires strong knowledge of manufacturing machines and machine operator experience, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and adherence to ergonomic and physical requirements. Requirements

  • Meet the ergonomic and physical requirements, as well as the physical base profile for this position
  • Meet the company quality and performance standards for the job as specified
  • Agree to wear the proper assigned PPE and shoes approved for this job as specified in Contact and Safety Requirements
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English as it relates to this position and to the safety regulations
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions including reading a tape measure, blueprints, production schematics
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job
  • Ability to perform all the job functions safely

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operation of various machines
  • Run material through machine according to company specifications
  • Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor
  • Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations
  • Ensure correct materials are used to meet customer specifications
  • Ensure all inventory entries are complete and accurate
  • Inspect and maintain quality of product
  • Meet all quality and efficiency standards
  • Meet all company safety policies and report any concerns related to required maintenance of machines
  • Test operation of machines periodically
  • Special projects as business dictate
