About The Position

Cameron Mitchell Restaurants is seeking a General Utilities (Dishwasher) for Del Mar in West Palm Beach. Del Mar features Mediterranean coastal cuisine, seasonal made-from-scratch dishes, handcrafted cocktails, and a European-inspired dining environment.

The General Utility is responsible for properly washing and storing dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small kitchen equipment. The role also assists with portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as requested; maintains the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner; and cleans the dining room, including lavatories and common areas. The position supports genuine hospitality, teamwork, and a safe, clean restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash and properly store dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small kitchen equipment.
• Assist with portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as requested.
• Maintain the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner.
• Clean the dining room, including lavatories and common areas.
• Report to work on time in a clean uniform that meets restaurant requirements and maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness during shifts.
• Exemplify hospitality standards, answer guests’ questions about the restaurant, and handle requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
• Cooperate with management and coworkers and assist others with duties as needed.
• Communicate suggestions for improvement positively.
• Follow applicable safety, health, and sanitation guidelines; report potentially unsafe conditions; and use materials and equipment properly.
• Know restaurant emergency procedures and perform duties according to the associate handbook.
