About The Position

CAMERON MITCHELL RESTAURANTS is seeking GENERAL UTILITIES to join our team! Our mission is to make “Raving Fans” of our Associates, Guests, Purveyors, Partners, and the Communities in which we do business. The general utility is responsible for properly washing and storing all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small equipment for the kitchen. They will also assist in portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as requested. This role maintains the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner and is responsible for cleaning the dining room including the lavatories and common areas.

Responsibilities

Properly wash and store all dishes, trays, eating utensils, cups, and small equipment for the kitchen.
Assist in portioning, peeling, and cleaning food as requested.
Maintain the dish room and dish machine in a sanitary and efficient manner.
Clean the dining room including the lavatories and common areas.
Meets company quality standards in preparation and presentation of cocktails.
Achieves planned product costs by adhering to portion standards.
Reports to work on time as indicated on the work schedule.
Uniform meets restaurant requirements and is maintained and cleaned.
Practices positive personal hygiene and cleanliness habits during all work shifts.
Exemplifies hospitality standards.
Answers guest's questions about the restaurant.
Handles requests and complaints with guest satisfaction as the priority.
Cooperates with management and co-workers to assist others with duties, if needed.
Communicates suggestions for improvement in a positive fashion.
Follows all national, state, and local safety, health, and sanitation guidelines as specified by the restaurant.
Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.
Knows emergency procedures in the restaurant.
Performs all duties and maintains knowledge of all standards and procedures as stated in the associate handbook.
