About The Position

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking a general urologist to join the Tallwood Urology and Kidney Institute at The Hospital of Central Connecticut. This is a 414-bed acute-care community teaching hospital located about 20 minutes south of Hartford. The Tallwood Institute is a leading Urology and Kidney care team with physicians who have advanced sub-specialty training and are supported by interdisciplinary medical and surgical specialists. The institute focuses on five system-wide interdisciplinary disease management teams: urologic oncology, pelvic health and urinary incontinence, stones, men’s health, and chronic kidney disease. The position offers the support and resources of a large hospital system, access to advanced training facilities like the Center for Education, Simulation and Innovation (CESI) with a da Vinci robot, robust research opportunities, advanced practitioner support, and leadership development programs. The location offers access to excellent schools, four seasons of recreation, and diverse living options.

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the State of Connecticut.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
