About The Position

The General Teaching Assistant works with teachers to support teaching and learning, assisting individual pupils or small groups under the direction of teaching staff. The role may include responsibility for some learning activities within the overall teaching plan, with support and guidance available as required. The position is based at Richmond School & Sixth Form College in Richmond, North Yorkshire, and is permanent, part-time, and term-time only. The stated hours are 31.25 hours per week over 39 weeks per year. The post reports to the SENCO/Assistant SENCO. Travel is not required. Salary is £25,614 to £26,847 per annum pro rata, dependent on current qualifications and experience.
