General Surgery Physician - ESA - Emory Warner Robins
About The Position
The Emory Division of General Surgery and GI is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified General Surgeon to join an established surgical group at Emory Hospital Warner Robins. The physician will provide patient care within the scope of their licensing, training, and credentialing, fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a General Surgeon, and help generate adequate practice volume. The position includes on-call duties and active participation in meetings and committees. The physician must practice medicine within the current scope of national patient safety goals. The role is based in Houston County and Warner Robins, Georgia. The posting describes the region as having a service-area population of more than 300,000, a growing economy influenced by Robins Air Force Base, and amenities including parks, recreation, sports complexes, festivals, and the Georgia National Fairgrounds and Agricenter.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree.
- Hold or be able to attain a valid and unrestricted medical license to practice medicine in Georgia.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery.
- Hold a valid, unrestricted DEA certificate.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Computer literacy.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in outpatient and inpatient medical practice is preferred.
