Requirements

BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

Nice To Haves

Preference for experienced Surgical First Assist Physician Assistants.

Responsibilities

Serve as a Surgical First Assist in the Operating Room.
Provide care in the Hospital’s General Surgery Practice.
Cover approximately 47 calls per year.
Collaborate with St. Lawrence Region Physicians and providers as well as other Physicians and providers within the RRH system.
