Skilled Wound Care, a premier national physician group, is hiring General Surgeons in Oakland, CA to work as wound care physicians and lead wound care initiatives in skilled nursing facilities across the area. Requirements
- Medical Degree: MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Medical License: Unrestricted/clear medical license in the state of practice (or eligibility to obtain one)
- DEA License: Or eligibility to obtain one
- Open Background: We welcome General Surgeons and surgeons of all backgrounds, as well as Family Medicine and Internal Medicine physicians.
- No previous wound care experience is required; we provide comprehensive wound care training
Responsibilities
- Use the latest advancements in wound healing to change lives in communities across Oakland, CA
- Surgical and sharp debridement and other bedside procedures
- Evaluation and treatment of chronic, non-healing and complex wounds
- Advanced dressings and specialized wound protocols
- Collaborative care in skilled nursing facilities and the post-acute setting, where you follow patients through healing
