About The Position

Vohra’s National Wound Physician Group is hiring a General Surgeon to provide bedside wound management in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility, typically visiting 2–3 facilities and treating approximately 20–30 patients per day. The mobile practice covers facilities within a 40–60 mile radius of the practice location. Clinical documentation is completed in real time at the point of care using the company’s proprietary wound-specific EMR. The role offers full-time or part-time schedules, with no nights, on-call duties, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Full-time physicians work 4–5 days per week; part-time physicians commit to at least 3 weekdays per week. Paid onboarding training and a six-month wound care fellowship are provided. W2 physicians reportedly earn an average of $300,000 per year, and the listed salary range is $200,000–$350,000 per year. Work visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

Hold a full, active, and unrestricted MD or DO medical license in the state where you wish to practice.
Commit to a minimum of 3 weekdays per week, Monday through Friday.
