About The Position

General Surgeon Position with National Wound Physician Group. This role offers clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance with no nights, no call, and no weekends. Physicians deliver modern wound management at the bedside in the post-acute care setting, specifically in Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Physicians conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility. This is a mobile practice where physicians visit 2-3 facilities per day, treating approximately 20-30 patients per day. Clinical documentation is done at the point of care in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR. Paid training is provided during onboarding, plus a 6-month wound care fellowship.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.
