About The Position

A community-based acute care hospital in Kentucky is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Surgeon (MD/DO) to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported environment with modern facilities while enjoying a high quality of life in a scenic, small-town setting. The position is a full-time, employed role focusing on bread and butter general surgery with endoscopic procedures, with no trauma responsibilities and a shared, light call schedule to support work-life balance. Robotics are not required. The facility is recently renovated with significant capital investment, featuring multiple operating rooms with modern surgical equipment, a dedicated endoscopy/procedure suite, experienced OR staff, and established anesthesia coverage. The administration is supportive and collaborative. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Requirements

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in General Surgery
• Comfortable performing general surgery procedures with scopes
• Ability to work in a non-robotic surgical environment
