About The Position

Assisting the crew in the quality and on-time completion of orders in a manufacturing environment. This role involves working on the 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, from 2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., with overtime as required. The position requires adherence to industry standards and safety regulations, effective time management, and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license & proof of insurance
Two years or more of manufacturing experience required
Ability to read job specifications, instructions, policies, procedures, rules, posted notices and warnings, safety guidelines, and other work-related materials written primarily or exclusively in English
Ability to read part drawings and familiarity with basic measurement methods
Ability to interact and work cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers
Keeps knowledge and skills current
Follow directions & receptive to learning new skills
Interact effectively with co-workers
Understand and comply with posted rules and procedures

Responsibilities

Measure and inspect pressed heads
Blast tank heads
Set up tooling
Reporting all quality issues, including defects & damage, to the supervisor in charge
Drive a Forklift & move materials
Coordinating with others for feedback
Complying with industry standards and safety regulations while working
Complete all tasks as delegated by the supervisor in charge
Efficiently managing time and meeting all specified deadlines
Keep the work area clean and organized
