General Service Technician (GST) – Automotive
About The Position
As a Midas lube & tire technician, you will be exposed to and have responsibility for performing repairs and maintenance, including: Perform oil changes and basic vehicle maintenance services Inspect and replace: filters, belts, wiper blades, lights and batteries Tire inspection, installations and repairs Alignment Conduct fluid flushes (brake, power steering, coolant, etc...) Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations. At Midas , we’re more than just oil changes. Requirements
- Knowledge in automotive general maintenance.
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts, tire changing equipment, alignment machines and scan tools.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Own tools.
- Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bending, reaching, and walking.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
