Automotive General Service Lube Technician
About The Position
This is a full-time position where the employee will provide service to customer vehicles, including checking and changing fluids and filters, airing tires. The role also involves specialized services such as transmission, differential, and radiator services. The technician will input customer and maintenance information into the computer, explain services to customers, and accept payment. The position requires maintaining clean facilities, observing safety regulations, and performing related duties as assigned. The technician will rotate through all Lube Technician duties, including Upper Bay, Lower Bay, Greeter, and Cashier roles.
Requirements
- Ability to read and write English.
- Successfully complete the Lube Technician training course.
- Ability to reach four feet in height overhead.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
- Respond to communication calls from co-workers.
- Mobility is required.

- Previous automotive experience is helpful.
Responsibilities
- Provide service to customer vehicles, including checking and changing fluids and filters, airing tires.
- Provide specialized service including but not limited to transmission, differential and radiator services.
- Input customer and maintenance information into computer.
- Explain service to customers and accept payment for services.
- Maintain clean facilities (work area, grounds, restrooms, customer area, etc.) including sweeping, mopping and emptying trash.
- Observe and comply with safety rules and regulations.
- Perform related duties as assigned.
