About The Position

ADESA, a Carvana owned company, currently operates over 50 locations throughout the US. These auto auctions, some up to 200 acres, provide a wide array of vehicle services including repair & reconditioning, auction remarketing, and many sites serve as market hub distribution centers. Their inventory comprises hundreds of thousands of vehicles across North America. ADESA embraces a “we” versus “I” culture and is poised for a multi-year expansion including huge investments in facilities, massive sales growth, and an ever-increasing inventory of vehicles. As an ADESA General Sales Manager, you will be a true sales hunter, leading by example, generating new business, closing deals, and developing a high-performing sales team to achieve and exceed expectations. This role requires a strong understanding of sales process, metrics, and compensation. GSM professionals who communicate effectively and understand the relevance of establishing and maintaining relationships will thrive. A committed General Sales Manager is dedicated to recruiting, retaining, and developing Sales Representatives, executing the overall sales strategy, and inspiring their team to achieve sales and performance objectives.   • Two or more years of supervisory experience
  • Successful previous experience as a sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
  • Qualified to operate a motor vehicle and possesses a valid driver’s license
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong multitasking skills along with the ability to adapt to changing work environments
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license and meet corporate driving standards
