About The Position

We are seeking Role Players (RPs) to act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) for scenario training. This is a contract, temporary position. The training will take place over two weeks in October. RPs will be required to stay on script, wear appropriate clothing and costuming, and operate various military weapons systems, including firing marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after instruction. RPs will be engaged with marking cartridge weapons and must be physically fit for austere environments and working in darkness. Familiarity with basic weapons handling and safety is required. RPs must be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods, be comfortable with trainees frisking and searching them while restrained, and be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods with or without restraints. Participants should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment, including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Requirements

• Be 18 years or older.
• Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
• Shall be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
• Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time.
• Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained.
• Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
• Be able to participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment).
• Be able to wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Nice To Haves

• Role Player with Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

Benefits

• $20/hour
• Contractors who successfully complete the full contract without default will receive a $960 flat-rate payment, equivalent to 48 hours at the stated hourly rate, regardless of actual hours worked.
