About The Position

This role involves acting as an Opposing Force (OPFOR) and General Role Player for scenario training. Role Players will need to stay on script, wear appropriate costuming, and operate various military weapons systems, including firing marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after receiving instruction. They will be engaged with marking cartridge weapons and must be physically fit for austere environments and nighttime operations. Role Players must be comfortable with safe weapons handling, being restrained and searched, and standing/laying prone for extended periods. They should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment, including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Requirements

  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
  • Have a valid driver's license.
  • Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
  • Shall be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
  • Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time.
  • Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained.
  • Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
  • Be able to participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment).
  • Be able to wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

  • Role Player with Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
  • Wear clothing, including costuming and headgear, appropriate to the scenario training.
  • Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after instruction.
  • Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) and engage with marking cartridge weapons.
  • Be physically fit for austere environments and nighttime operations.
  • Demonstrate basic weapons handling, including safety.
  • Be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods.
  • Be comfortable with trainees frisking and searching them while restrained.
  • Stand and lay prone for extended periods with and without restraints.
  • Participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment.
  • Wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Benefits

  • Contractors who successfully complete the full contract without default will receive a $960 flat-rate payment, equivalent to 48 hours at the stated hourly rate, regardless of actual hours worked.
