This role involves acting as an Opposing Force (OPFOR) and Role Player (RP) for scenario training exercises. RPs will be required to stay on script, wear appropriate costuming, and operate various military weapons systems, including those firing marking cartridges, paintball, and blank ammunition. The role demands physical fitness to operate in austere environments, including during hours of darkness, and the ability to handle weapons safely. RPs must be comfortable being restrained and searched by trainees, and participating in training scenarios where they will be engaged with non-lethal marking ammunition while wearing protective gear. The training dates are September 10-16, with a team size of 22 RPs. The pay rate is $26/hour with a flat rate incentive of $1040 for completing a full contract, even if fewer than 40 hours are worked.
