About The Position

Seeking Role Players (RPs) to act as Opposing Force (OPFOR) for a scenario training event. RPs will be required to stay on script, wear appropriate costuming, operate various military weapons systems (including those firing marking cartridges, paintball, and blank ammunition), and act as OPFOR. The role involves being engaged with marking cartridge weapons and potentially being restrained for prolonged periods. Participants must be physically fit, comfortable with being searched while restrained, and able to stand and lay prone for extended periods. They should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition while wearing safety equipment, including a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard. The training dates are July 21-22, with a team size of 22 RPs and a pay rate of $20/hour.

Requirements

Be 18 years or older.
Be a US Citizen and can provide proof.
Have a valid driver's license.
Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
Be familiar with basic weapons handling including safety.
Be able to be restrained/zip-tied for prolonged periods of time.
Be comfortable with having trainees frisk and search them while they are restrained.
Be able to stand and lay prone for extended periods of time with and without restraints.
Be able to participate in scenario training where they should expect to be shot at with non-lethal marking ammunition (Simmunitions, UTM, or paintballs) while wearing safety equipment (personal protective equipment).
Be able to wear safety equipment consisting of a full-face helmet, throat guard, and groin guard.

Nice To Haves

Role Player with Military/Law Enforcement experience/background preferred.

Responsibilities

Stay on script for the scenario without adlibbing or changing the scope of the scenario.
Wear clothing, including costuming and headgear, appropriate to the significance of the scenario training.
Operate various military weapons systems and fire marking cartridge weapons, paintball type weapons systems, and blank ammunition after being instructed on the safe use of weapons.
Act as Opposing Force (OPFOR), including being engaged with marking cartridge weapons.
Be physically fit with no physical limitations or preexisting medical conditions that would preclude them from working in an austere environment and during the hours of darkness.
