About The Position

This is a hands-on utility role supporting production and maintenance teams across the plant. You’ll observe, learn, and perform a wide variety of tasks, often serving as a relief or backup operator while gaining experience. The role involves assisting with production and maintenance tasks, operating auxiliary production equipment, preparing and staging process supplies, learning forklift operation, supporting plant operations with additional tasks and basic clerical work, and following all safety procedures under the direction of experienced team members.

Requirements

Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days or nights)
Willingness to work weekends and mandatory overtime
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to work under close supervision and follow safety protocols
Strong reliability, teamwork, and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

Prior sit-down forklift experience preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

Assist with production and maintenance tasks throughout the plant
Operate or attend auxiliary production equipment, including: Brushing machines, Die cast machines, Dinking tools, Material regrind equipment
Help prepare, stage, and deliver process supplies
Learn and perform forklift operation duties as needed
Support plant operations through additional assigned tasks and basic clerical work
Follow all safety procedures and work under the direction of experienced team members
