About The Position
The Pavilion Behavioral Health System is seeking a General Psychiatrist to join their team. This is a full-time, employed position focusing on adult and adolescent caseloads in an in-patient setting. The role involves new evaluations, follow-up visits, medication checks, and participation in a call rotation. The Pavilion Behavioral Health System is located in Champaign, Illinois, and provides a secure, nurturing environment for children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults dealing with emotional, psychiatric, and addictive diseases. Their services include acute inpatient care, partial hospitalization programs (PHP), residential programs, addiction treatment services, and intensive outpatient programs (IOP). Champaign, Illinois is situated approximately 2 hours southeast of Chicago and, along with neighboring Urbana, is home to the University of Illinois, forming the Champaign-Urbana Metropolitan Area.
Requirements
- Illinois Medical License, or ability to obtain
- Board Certification or Board Eligibility in General Psychiatry
- Qualified to support J1 Visa
