About The Position
Perform all general production functions involved in the manufacturing and assembly processes of Modineer Company. General production includes, but is not limited to, the operation of spot welders, robotic weld cells, single stroke stamping presses up to 400 tons, drills, grinders, stretch benders, and forklifts as well as other related duties as assigned. Employees must follow standard work instructions and practice safe work habits to ensure production is as efficient and safe as possible.
Requirements
- Must be able to accurately complete all required Modineer production system documentation such as production reports, inspection reports, etc.
- Must be able to work as part of a team.
Nice To Haves
- Experience using small hand-held tools, grinders, sanders, etc. is a plus
- Forklift experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Read and understand work instructions
- Load and unload parts
- Change weld tips, nozzles, and fixtures
- Wear appropriate PPE
- Handle/lift/push/pull up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis
- Perform product quality checks in accordance with work instructions
- Package parts per specifications
- Use small hand-hand tools to make minor adjustments to parts
- Read and understand measurement devices
- Make boxes with wooden skids
Benefits
- Work 36 hours - Paid for 40
- Additional $3.00 on top of base pay as 2nd shift premium
