About The Position
This role involves various production duties in a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate must be able to understand and follow safety rules, perform physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, carrying, and lifting up to 40 pounds, and work in varying environmental conditions including damp, cold, or hot temperatures. The job requires standing for 8-10 hours a day, wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including ear protection, hair nets, and beard guards, and maneuvering freely as needed. Good hand-eye coordination is essential, and the ability to climb steps/stairs is sometimes necessary. Tyson is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers various benefits to its team members.
Requirements
- Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 365-day waiting period before you can reapply.
- Number of Times Worked at Tyson: You can apply if you’ve worked at Tyson no more than three times.
- Failed Drug Screen: If you had a failed drug screen, you must wait 6 months before reapplying.
- Must wear PPE, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net, and beard guard.
