About The Position

These positions involve low to intermediate skill labor, such as placing hams on machinery to be sliced, operating bandsaws, bagging hams, etc. This position could work in any department of this pork processing facility. The environment is cold and damp, with temperatures ranging from 35 to 45 degrees. Lifting requirements vary from 0-65 lbs.

Requirements

• Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Stand, walk, bend, stretch, climb, push, pull, and reach continuously
• May involve climbing stairs/ladders
• Work in a cold and damp environment (35-45 degrees Fahrenheit)
• Lift 0-65 lbs
• Work 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday, with occasional Sundays possible during the busy season
• Provide proof of authorization to work legally within the U.S.
• Pass a urinalysis screening as part of a post-offer health assessment
• Not a rehire
