About The Position

This role is responsible for all production operations at the facility. This includes managing all production supervisors’ departments, production schedules, product rotation, CCP verification schedules, and overseeing the safety committee. This role includes responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop and improve in any deficient areas. Some travel is required as needed. Relocation Assistance is available for this position.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing supervisory role or 2+ years of Tyson supervisory experience.
Basic computer skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Able to communicate with all levels of management.
Team-leader, problem-solving, and motivation to take on special projects.
Must be able to access all areas of the production floor.
Able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility (temperature ranges from 28°-45° Fahrenheit).

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with processing floor operations preferred.
HACCP certification and a basic understanding of HACCP principals preferred.
Knowledge of fresh meats processing preferred.

Responsibilities
