About The Position

This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration. The job requires the ability to push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions. Candidates must be willing to work in damp, cold, or hot environments, and reach above shoulder level. The role involves standing for 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces, performing repetitive motions, and climbing up and down stairs. Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) such as frocks, gloves, ear protection, hair nets, and beard guards must be worn. Some roles may involve the use of knives, scissors, or powered equipment like saws or skinner machines. All applicants must provide their government identification number for employment history verification. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation. A minimum waiting period of 90 days is required for rehires.
