About The Position
This position is responsible for entry-level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. This position could work in any area of the Fresh Processing including the DSI, Debone, Deli lines, and Evisceration.
Requirements
- Must provide government identification number for verification of previous Tyson employment history.
- Must be currently working at this facility or complex only.
- Complete the task after submitting your application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.
Nice To Haves
- Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
Responsibilities
- Push, pull, carry, and/or lift up to 50 pounds for some positions.
- Work in damp, cold, or hot environments.
- Reach above shoulder level.
- Stand 8-10 hours a day on hard surfaces.
- Perform repetitive motion.
- Climb up and down stairs to get to and from the work areas.
- Wear PPE, frocks, gloves, ear protection (plugs or muffs), hair net and beard guard.
- Use of a knife and or scissors to bone out or trim pieces of product.
- Use of powered equipment such as saws or skinner machines.
