If you’re ready to grow with us, we’d love to hear from you. We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery - Production (Line Inspector) to join our team at our Hazleton, PA bakery. As a Line Inspector, you will be accountable for ensuring semi-finished dough products meet all company quality and food safety standards prior to freezing, while preventing non-conforming product from disrupting production flow or causing downtime.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
  • Basic math and timekeeping skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to make logical decisions
  • Ability to lift, push, or move up to 50 lbs and frequently carry 20+ lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and work in varying environmental conditions (cold, hot, wet, or noisy)
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in a food manufacturing or production environment
  • Familiarity with quality inspection processes or food safety standards
  • Experience working with mechanical or production line equipment
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in basic computer systems and production data entry

Responsibilities

  • Inspect and measure semi-finished dough products to ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards
  • Remove and properly sort non-conforming products into rework or scrap to minimize waste
  • Communicate quality issues and equipment concerns with operators, mixers, and support teams to maintain efficient production
  • Monitor line flow and freezer entry conditions to ensure proper product transfer and freezing
  • Support line operations including start-up, shutdown, cleaning, and troubleshooting to reduce downtime
  • Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all materials are used efficiently and responsibly
  • Uphold sanitation, safety standards, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) while maintaining a clean work environment
