About The Position
Geisinger is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible advanced practice provider to join its established, collegial General Pediatrics team at Geisinger Primary Care Orwigsburg in Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania. This full-time, 1.0 FTE opportunity is in an outpatient General Pediatrics practice with an experienced, collaborative pediatric team. The position offers a flexible four- or five-day workweek and uses the EPIC electronic medical record system. Geisinger describes the practice as a supportive environment where providers can build meaningful relationships with patients and families and maintain work-life balance. The role is part of an integrated health system focused on innovation, collaboration, and patient care, with the resources of a large health system and the close-knit feel of a community-based practice.
Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible advanced practice provider.
- Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant is required.
- Basic Life Support certification.
- Certified Physician Assistant credential from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Skills in care management knowledge, clinical policies and standards, health information documentation, patient assessment and care, patient safety, and patients' rights.
