About The Position

Pediatric Associates is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our practices in Jacksonville, Florida. This role offers the opportunity to gain experience among well-established practices supporting Fernandina Beach, River City, Northside, Arlington, and Main Street. The position offers flexible scheduling options, including the opportunity for a 3-day weekend, with a Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm schedule. While there is an opportunity to round on newborns, it is not required. This is a full-time position with no weekends.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program.
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam.
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006, must be board certified.
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB.
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida.
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida.
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Nice To Haves

• Spanish Speaking Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Float between practices supporting Fernandina Beach, River City, Northside, Arlington and Main Street.
• Round on newborns (not required).
