About The Position

Ignite Banking is a boutique consulting firm serving exclusively banks and financial institutions in hands-on technology delivery roles. We are not a staff augmentation or recruiting firm. We are a trusted partner to our clients, standing shoulder to shoulder with them while we work together to deliver technically complex capabilities, projects, and programs. Our engagements support all aspects of retail, small business, and commercial banking, including digital channel transformation, payments, core banking, software and outsourcing, enterprise distributed software, and beyond. Our experts help our clients navigate the most challenging aspects of selecting and implementing new technology, saving them time, frustration, and financial resources. Requirements

• 3-5+ years of experience working within the banking or financial services industry, with exposure to commercial banking, treasury, retail banking, digital banking, or related areas
• Proven experience in technology delivery, project management, business analysis, systems implementation, or technical consulting roles
• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, take ownership of complex deliverables, and execute with a roll-up-your-sleeves mentality
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and decision making on complex issues, work in ambiguous situations, and determine the best course of action with minimal direction
• Ability to build strong interpersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and stakeholders and be viewed as a trusted partner who understands and advocates for their desired outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with multi-disciplined teams including architects, developers, business users, executives, and vendors
• Strong team player who works well with both functional and technical resources across the enterprise
• Understanding of business value and broader organizational impact of technology initiatives
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and manage multiple priorities on mission-critical projects

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management frameworks
• Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and technology delivery best practices
• Familiarity with major enterprise banking platforms and digital channel vendors
• Experience with mergers, acquisitions, conversions, or platform migrations
• Technical skills relevant to your discipline (SQL, data analysis, system integration, etc.)
• Ability to separate vendor fact from spin and provide unbiased guidance
