About The Position

The Department of Neurology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is seeking a General Neurologist for a full-time faculty position at our Boston location. The successful candidate will provide five ambulatory clinics per week, four hours in length, to be conducted a minimum of twenty-nine (29) weeks per year. Outpatient clinics may be reduced or canceled when working on an inpatient and/or teleneurology service. We anticipate one ambulatory clinic to occur in a BIDMC licensed community location, and one or more ideally embedded within DFCI. Sixteen weeks (16) of combined inpatient and teleneurology shifts. If applicable: The candidate will be appointed to the full-time faculty of Harvard Medical School at an academic rank commensurate with experience.

Requirements

MD or DO from an accredited medical school
Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology
A valid MA medical license or ability to obtain one
Demonstrated excellence in clinical care and research
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

Provide five ambulatory clinics per week, four hours in length, for a minimum of twenty-nine (29) weeks per year.
Work on an inpatient and/or teleneurology service, which may lead to reduction or cancellation of outpatient clinics.
Conduct one ambulatory clinic in a BIDMC licensed community location.
Conduct one or more ambulatory clinics ideally embedded within DFCI.
