About The Position

The Department of Neurological Sciences at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, is hiring a general neurologist to provide comprehensive neurological care within a large academic department. The role collaborates with subspecialty programs in Epilepsy, Headache, Neurovascular/Stroke, Movement Disorders, Neuromuscular, Multiple Sclerosis, Neuro-ophthalmology, and Cognitive & Behavioral Neurology. The position offers a diverse case mix, dedicated ancillary services, and outpatient clinic opportunities at multiple locations. Depending on interest, the successful candidate may participate in clinical research, outreach, telemedicine, inpatient care, and quality improvement. The role also offers opportunities to teach and work with residents in the clinic within a large neurology residency program. Requirements

MD, MD/PhD, DO, or equivalent degree.
Board eligible or board certified in Neurology.
Eligible for a Nebraska medical license.
Interest in teaching.
Passion for providing top-level clinical care.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive clinical neurological care.
Collaborate with the department’s neurology subspecialty programs.
Teach and work with residents in clinic.
Participate in clinical research, outreach activities, telemedicine, inpatient care, or quality improvement, if desired.
