About The Position

Sud Stop Car Wash is hiring an on-site General Manager for its Jacksonville, Florida car wash facility. The General Manager is accountable for people, performance, and profitability, and is responsible for day-to-day facility operations, smooth workflow, and exceptional service delivery. This hands-on leadership role involves building and motivating a high-energy team, delivering an outstanding guest experience, leading by example, and operating the wash with ownership and a focus on results. The position pays an annual salary of $65,000–$75,000 based on experience, with bonus eligibility. The work schedule is Tuesday through Saturday. The facility is open seven days a week from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM, and weekend and holiday shifts are required. Salaried team members should expect to work 50 hours per week, though the workload may require more or fewer hours.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree required; a degree in Business Administration is preferred. An associate’s degree or equivalent hands-on management experience is accepted.
At least 3 years of multi-unit or high-volume management experience in QSR, retail, automotive, car wash, or a similar industry.
Demonstrated P&L ownership and data-driven decision-making.
At least 2 years of management experience, such as in car wash, retail sales, restaurants, front desk, or site management.
Strong leadership presence and ability to motivate hourly teams.
Mechanical aptitude and comfort learning tunnel equipment.
Strong computer skills and ability to learn new applications.
Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods in varying outdoor weather conditions.
Ability to operate POS systems and typical office machines.
Ability to prioritize and multitask independently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, diplomacy, and teamwork.
