About The Position

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf® General Manager curates memorable experiences for our guests and the CBTL team daily. We are seeking friendly, dedicated, and creative Barista’s to provide our guests with the world’s finest quality coffee and tea experience. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to engage with the clients while developing your skills in a variety of areas across the business. Many of our General Managers started off as Baristas! Responsibilities

  • Lead by example, driving profitability, service, performance, and operational excellence through coaching and training.
  • Be a coffee & tea expert, sharing passion and knowledge with the team and guests to provide a Total Quality Experience.
  • Generate new guests by engaging with customers in-store.
  • Ensure a safe store environment for employees and guests.
  • Manage a profitable store by tracking sales and overseeing day-to-day operations and risk management.
  • Contribute to store growth operationally with tasks and ideas.
  • Utilize visual merchandising and product placement to create memorable guest experiences.
  • Build store presence and connect with the local community to attract and retain talent.
  • Mentor an Assistant General Manager and other store staff by sharing knowledge and embodying CBTL guiding principles.
