About The Position

Schumacher Homes is seeking a General Manager to provide overall leadership for their Charleston division. This role is responsible for managing people and operations, hiring, training, and motivating employees to exceed business plan goals. The General Manager will align Sales, Construction, and Administrative teams to ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include overseeing customer contracts, vendor management, budgets, and forecasting.

Requirements

• Strong strategic, analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented leadership skills.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in residential construction.
• Experience with custom home or scattered lot build preferred.
• Ability to oversee Sales and Construction.
• Proficiency with construction technology and tools to streamline operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership of people and operations for the Charleston division.
• Hire, train, and motivate employees to consistently exceed business plan goals.
• Align Sales, Construction, and Administrative teams to ensure operational excellence and exceptional customer satisfaction.
• Oversee customer contracts, vendor management, budgets, and forecasting.
• Collaborate with internal departments to manage contract-to-build timeline.
