About The Position

Dillas Quesadillas is hiring a General Manager to lead its restaurant in Forney, Texas. The General Manager runs the whole restaurant and serves as its local face, building relationships with guests, employees, schools, families, and community partners. The role calls for a hands-on leader who hires and develops strong teams, sets a positive and accountable culture, delivers excellent restaurant operations, and drives financial performance. The General Manager is expected to lead by example, use the company’s operating tools and systems, prioritize team and guest safety, and build community engagement once restaurant operations and performance are on track. The company offers 10 weeks of training, coaching, and ongoing career development, with opportunities to contribute ideas and participate at the leadership table.

Responsibilities

Run the whole restaurant and lead shifts as a hands-on working manager.
Recruit, hire, onboard, train, and develop team members; build relationships with local high schools, families, and neighbors.
Set clear expectations and foster a supportive culture with accountability, shift meetings, honest feedback, follow-up, and recognition.
Maintain excellent operations, including a clean restaurant, fast service, strong training, and control of food and labor costs.
Use company tools and systems, lead by example, and prioritize team and guest safety.
Manage the restaurant’s financial performance, understand its P&L, plan ahead, and complete administrative work accurately and promptly.
Build local partnerships, attend community events, run catering, and grow the Dillas presence in Forney when operations are running well.
