About The Position

Hospitality Confidential is pleased to present an exciting General Manager opportunity with a growing, community-driven hospitality group focused on excellence, sustainability, and team development. This is a pivotal time for the organization as they continue to expand their footprint and evolve their offerings, including a strong and growing catering and events program. The General Manager will play a key role in shaping the next phase of growth—driving operational excellence, strengthening team culture, and ensuring a consistently elevated guest experience across all revenue channels. This role is ideal for a dynamic, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys building systems that scale, and is energized by the opportunity to grow alongside an emerging brand. Reporting to Ownership, the General Manager will lead all front- and back-of-house operations while also overseeing the continued development and execution of catering and events initiatives. This individual will act as a strategic and operational partner to ownership, responsible for driving performance, mentoring teams, and building a strong operational foundation to support ongoing growth. The role requires a balance of day-to-day execution and big-picture thinking, with a focus on scalability, team development, and long-term success. The ideal candidate brings a passion for hospitality, a strong sense of ownership, and the ability to lead teams through periods of growth and change while maintaining high standards across the business.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a senior restaurant leadership role overseeing full operations
  • 8+ years of progressive experience in the hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to develop teams and drive performance
  • Experience managing budgets, financial performance, and operational systems
  • Ability to make thoughtful, strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a beer-focused or brewery environment preferred
  • Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus
  • design tools (Canva, Adobe Suite) a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop department heads, including culinary and front-of-house leadership
  • Oversee hiring, onboarding, and training of all team members
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Conduct performance evaluations focused on growth and accountability
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture
  • Act as the primary liaison between ownership and the management team
  • Ensure company values are consistently upheld across all departments
  • Oversee all day-to-day restaurant operations across front and back of house
  • Ensure consistent execution of food quality, service standards, and guest experience
  • Implement and improve systems to drive operational efficiency and scalability
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and best practices
  • Monitor daily performance and adjust operations to support business needs
  • Manage vendor relationships and procurement processes to ensure quality and cost efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Manage and oversee the annual budget, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Partner with ownership on forecasting, goal setting, and growth strategies
  • Monitor key financial metrics and drive profitability without compromising quality
  • Identify opportunities for cost control and operational improvement
  • Lead regular financial reviews with ownership and management team
  • Support leadership team development in financial acumen and business performance
