About The Position

Tropical Smoothie Café is seeking a vibrant and energetic General Manager to join their team. This role is responsible for inspiring a healthier lifestyle through amazing food and smoothies in a fun, tropical environment. The General Manager will act as a brand ambassador, developing the crew to serve customers with unparalleled hospitality while upholding the brand's culture and values. The ideal candidate embraces a "live the lifestyle" mentality, understanding that eating better leads to feeling better, and possesses a fun, outgoing personality to welcome customers.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent
• 2+ years QSR experience preferred
• Experience in hiring, training, and developing team members
• Must have reliable transportation
• Excellent menu and product knowledge
• Experience in growing sales and providing excellent customer service
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence in both front and back of house
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Proven track record of managing cost of goods and labor
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to improve self and skill sets

Responsibilities

• Monitors sales growth and cost control of the café against budgeted expectations and historical performance to ensure profit goals are met.
• Maintains and exceeds customer expectations to build brand loyalty.
• Presents a consistent and professional image of the café and crew by maintaining all sanitation and appearance standards.
• Communicates and stays updated on all marketing and promotional materials, executing marketing and sales programs following appropriate guidelines.
• Builds café sales by cultivating relationships in the business community and initiating local store marketing campaigns.
• Interacts with Crew Members and customers using "Tropitude" (what makes Tropical Smoothie Café fun and different).
• Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies.
• Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafes standards.
• Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and any other areas in the café.
• Performs any additional tasks necessary to run the café.
