The General Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and processing telephone orders. This role also involves taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and enter orders using a computer or touch screen. The work environment involves exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, infrequent climbing, stooping/bending, occasional crouching/squatting, and continuous hand use with potential for forceful pinching and grasping. Tools and equipment may include pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel. Additionally, the role involves delivering product by car to customers, distributing marketing materials, and requires a valid driver's license with a safe driving record and access to an insured vehicle. Delivery tasks include navigating adverse terrain, carrying product, driving within a designated area, and potentially climbing multiple flights of stairs. Delivery personnel are exposed to varying weather conditions.
